EMDR Practice for Clinicians EMDR Practice for Clinicians is hosted by an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Dr. Linda Bedsole, and includes No Fee Study Groups, EMDR Group and Individual Consultation, and Training in using EMDR with Children and Adolescents (seminars, groups, or individually). Consultation and Training is available at the office of Creative Psychology or at your office or other convenient location. What it means to be EMDRIA Certified A clinician who is EMDRIA Certified in EMDR has been licensed or certified in their profession for independent practice and has had a minimum of two years experience in their field. They have completed an EMDRIA approved training program in EMDR, have conducted a minimum of fifty clinical sessions in which EMDR was utilized, and have received twenty hours of consultation in EMDR by an Approved Consultant. In addition they must complete twelve hours of continuing education in EMDR every two years. What it means to be an EMDRIA Approved Consultant EMDRIA Approved Consultants must meet all criteria to be Certified in EMDR. In addition, they must have three years of experience with EMDR after completing an EMDRIA Approved Training Program, have conducted at least three hundred clinical sessions in which EMDR was utilized, and have received twenty hours of consultation-of-consultation from an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. They must complete twelve hours of continuing education in EMDR every two years. EMDR Consultation EMDR Consultation Groups are a unique training and evaluation process to prepare EMDR Level II clinicians to become EMDRIA Certified under the guidelines of the EMDR International Association. Monthly Consultation Groups for five or fewer clinicians are available. The fee for two hours of group EMDR Consultation is $75.00 per person. Individual EMDR Consultation* is available at $180.00 per hour. (* Individual consultation time may also be accrued for Certification at no extra charge in consultation groups when presenting a case for approximately 45 minutes.) EMDR No Fee Study Groups EMDR No Fee Study Groups present an opportunity for EMDR-trained clinicians to share and explore their questions, experiences, and interests in EMDR. They are not Consultation Groups. There is no charge for these groups. They are not evaluative for the purpose of seeking Certification.
